Abstraktus
Suvokimas reiškia interpretaciją to, ką matome akimis.
Mokymosi rezultatai
The learners will learn how to use daily materials in order to create an illusion box.
- Name the steps of a work
- Tell the impact of perspective and depth
- Define the difference between what eyes see and brain processes
- Utilize simple materials to construct a box with illusion.
- Work in a group of peers
- Conclude the reasons of perspective
- Improve their understanding of depth and perspective
- Predict that the scale of items can change how they are viewed
- Discuss on different visuals and their perspectives in different boxes.
- Construct an illusion in a shoebox
Kitos instrukcijos
In 7 simple steps you will have a shoe box with an illusion: Inquiry:
- Draw two identical figures of the same size on a small piece of paper.
- Include a folded over tab at the bottom of the image so it can easily be attached to the box
- Adhere images in 2 different locations within the shoebox (its easiest to glue/tape one on the back ‘wall’ of the box and one closer to the viewing hole).
- Scale the second figure differently than the first. Make the figures in two slightly different sizes. The goal is for the two items to appear the same size when viewed from the hole in the shoebox even though they are at different depths
- Close your box and look inside to see if the figures appear to be the same size. If not, make changes they might make to have the figures look the same size.
- Discuss with your peers regarding closer objects appearing larger and further objects appearing smaller. When each group believes their images appear to be the same size from the viewing hole, trade boxes with another group to check. Add more figures to their illusion to further practice scaling and see the effects of depth.
