Abstract
A bath bomb is a hard packed mixture of dry ingredients that effervesce or fizz when added to a warm bath. They’re a special treat that adults enjoy for the aromatic, luxury bath experience they provide, and youngsters like for the bubbly, fizzy excitement they provide as they dance about the bath water.
The purpose of this project is to investigate how bath bomb reactions are affected by water temperature. Bath bombs are a simple acid-base reaction involving baking soda and citric acid. Acid and base can be mixed in powdered form and will not react.
